I am looking into getting a new bedroom set for my guest room. What do you think?
There is a full size mattres on the bottom, twin on top, and twin trundle under. Lots of room for grandkids.
We also got new carpet in the bedrooms and are painting the walls. Having company visit has motivated me to get ready. My sister Sue and her daughter Leah and family will be here next month. Plus Kristine and Lisa and their families are visiting later so I am looking forward to all the company.
I have also been working in my yard, since we have had such nice weather. I have started my own composting with a bin and lid. Dad is still doing his thing with his big pile of stuff. But I am adding all vegetable and table scraps to mine. I am also getting a worm bin to use their castings, which is a natural fertilizer. So my new pets will be worms. Cheryl will be so proud!
Plus it is time to start planting a garden. I usually just do tomatoes and cucumbers. But will try some other things this year.

I'm excited about your new guest bedroom furniture. I know my kids will love it when we visit. Not so sure on your new pets. WORMS - are you serious? I love grocery stores & especially the produce section. Good luck with your garden & fertilizer :)
Katherine, I love the background. I got a little ahead of myself with mine and put a St. Patty's Day background up already! I'm still learnin how it all works..hehe. I love the bunk bed/trundle. Our boys have one similar with the twin on top and full on bottom, but they have a drawer underneath instead of trundle. The trundle is a great idea for sleepovers! Your motivating me to do some more work on our house. Thanks!
And you thought you were over the bunk bed phase:) That will work great when we come visit!
I didn't know you got new carpet too. I hardly recognize your house anymore when I come visit. It certainly doesn't look like the house I grew up in anymore.
The kids can hardly wait to visit. I don't know if they are more excited about Disneyland or grandma's hot tub!
